Clinton River Trail—Telegraph Bridge Crossing
A bridge over Telegraph Road in Pontiac is close to becoming a reality. The project was awared a $2.1 million grant as part of the Stimulus and Recovery Act (also known as ARRA) and was also funded by a grant of about $450,000 by MDOT. The bridge will be 315 feet long and have two spans of 152 and 163 feet. This will eliminate the current diversion from the trail to the Orchard Lake Road bridge and back.
